Lavender harvest usually starts in the beginning of July and continues until the end of the month. The lavender flowers are picked only on warm and quiet days when the plants contain most oil.

The primary components of Bulgarian Lavender oil are linalyl acetate and linalool. For a good quality oil is very important the ratio between these two components. Other ingredients include α-pinene, limonene, 1.8-cineole, cis- and trans-ocimene, 3-octanone, camphor, caryophyllene, terpinen-4-ol and lavendulyl acetate.

It is a 100% Natural product obtained by water-steam distillation of the flowers of the oil-bearing rose (Rosa damascena P. Miller). Approximately 3000-3500 kg rose flowers are needed to obtain 1 kg of the precious golden liquid.
