Known for his creativity and inspiring color transformations, James Earnshaw is now one of the best known global hairdressers on Instagram. A social media pioneer, it’s not unusual for his Instagram content to be viewed a million-plus times. 

James has been honing his craft with Wella Professionals for over 16 years, having been a member of the Cult Team and a Craft Expert before taking the step to become GHD Trade Ambassador and UK&I Wella Digital Color Ambassador.

In 2020, James embraced life as a freelance creative. This has allowed him to shape the direction of his future and his progressive approach to color. Demand for James’ contemporary skillset continues to grow, focusing on international shows, editorial work and session styling.

Internationally recognized for his creativity in “shaggy” haircuts and styling, Marco Firriolo has mastered the art of blending a modern, commercial aesthetic with techniques that can be easily replicated in the salon. Today, he is one of the most followed hairdressers in the world on social media, especially on Instagram and TikTok, where he boasts a huge community capable of generating millions of views and interactions.

His collaboration with Wella began over 12 years ago, after a global training journey through the fashion capitals – Milan, Paris, London, and New York – which led him to work both at Fashion Weeks and in prestigious salons. Later, together with his family, he became the owner of his own salons, leading a team of over 40 collaborators and welcoming actresses, singers, and celebrities on a daily basis.

In 2020, he launched “HAIR REEL”, the first online training program in Italy that combines cutting, coloring, and styling techniques with social media communication strategies. The success of the initiative led to the creation of a physical academy, with annual programs dedicated to the philosophy of cutting, coloring, and styling. Today, more than 400 hairdressers from all over the world attend Firriolo Training every year.

His approach is based on simple, fast, high-quality techniques that can be applied in the salon starting the very next day. Having firsthand knowledge of the daily challenges of the profession, Marco positions himself as a concrete support for fellow professionals, helping them simplify their work while maintaining an excellent standard. He believes that every hairdresser has their own “signature,” and in his courses he teaches a balance of 80% technique and 20% creativity and instinct — because it’s that very 20% that makes a professional truly unique.

As a Wella Ambassador, Marco travels the world for masterclasses, hair shows, photo shoots, and co-creation projects for some of the brand’s most iconic products. In love with Wella’s philosophy — which shaped and nurtured his growth — he contributes to innovation in the industry by bringing his vision, passion, and energy to every project.

Originally from Liverpool, UK, Nomad Barber (Miguel Gutierrez) has become one of the most recognized barbers, content creators, and educators worldwide. Starting his career as a teenager, he rose to prominence when he set out on a journey around the world to document barbering traditions.

Driven by a passion for travel, photography, and people, Miguel uncovered the cultural and symbolic significance of hair in countries such as India, Nepal, China, and across Africa. From the baby’s first “full moon” haircut in China to the symbolic status of hair within the Masai community, these encounters have shaped his perspective and his craft.

This unique journey not only inspired the opening of his barbershops in London and Berlin but also positioned him as a global voice in the barbering industry – bridging cultures, preserving traditions, and reimagining them for the modern grooming world.
